Frequently Asked Questions
Real questions Sweto users have asked, answered by our team.
How do I contact Sweto support if I have a question that's not covered here?
1. Click "Contact Us" in the top navigation, or go to /support. 2. Type your question or issue and send it. 3. This opens a private conversation between you and the Sweto team - reply any time, and you'll see a red badge on "Contact Us" when there's a new reply waiting for you.
How do I get Expert Advice for a client account, and what makes it different?
A generic AI tip ignores what your team has actually done for that client. Expert Advice combines real Google Search Console data with the actual logged work history for that specific client - so the recommendation is informed by what's really happening, not a one-size-fits-all suggestion. 1. Open a client account and go to its Work History page (or find the Expert Advice section there). 2. Click to run it - this costs credits from the shared Credit Pool. 3. Read the recommendation, grounded in that client's real data and your team's real work.
How do agency packages and pricing work?
Every workspace starts on the Free package: 3 client accounts, 1 Team Leader, 1 VA, no time limit - enough to run a real small agency before you ever need to pay. Paid packages unlock more room as you grow and run for 30 days at a time: - Studio - $9/30 days (limited-time promo, normally $45) - 10 client accounts, 5 Team Leaders, 5 VAs - Team - $55/30 days - 20 client accounts, 10 Team Leaders, 10 VAs - Unlimited - $99/30 days - unlimited client accounts, Team Leaders, and VAs 1. Go to /agency and find the package panel, or go to /pricing to compare tiers. 2. Click to upgrade and check out with PayPal. 3. You can also turn on auto-renew so your package renews automatically each period (this deducts a flat number of credits from your personal balance, shown on the package panel).
What do Client Health and Team Activity show on the Agency page?
Both exist to catch problems before a client notices them - visibility a Manager would otherwise only get by manually checking every account. - Client Health flags client accounts that are stalled, have overdue tasks, or haven't been scanned in a while - so nothing quietly falls behind. - Team Activity shows who's logged in recently and how their current workload looks, so a Manager can spot who's overloaded or idle and rebalance work before it becomes a problem.
How do I check my team's Staff Performance, and what's the benefit?
Staff Performance gives a Manager or Team Leader real, evidence-based visibility into how each person is actually doing - not a gut feeling. It's built on hard data: actual working hours, actual turnaround time, and an on-demand AI review of the work itself, so performance conversations and reviews are backed by facts instead of impressions. It also surfaces problems early - a task open far longer than expected, or a pattern of below-average scans in one category, shows up before it becomes a bigger issue. 1. Go to /agency - Managers see a Staff Performance table for the whole workspace; Team Leaders see it scoped to their own assigned client accounts. 2. Click into any staff member's name to open their Investigate page. 3. There you'll see every task they've worked on, their working hours, turnaround time, and you can run an on-demand AI performance scan on any task (costs credits from the shared pool) to get a rating and explanation. 4. The page also shows an overall performance score based on all their scanned tasks, plus a suggested area for improvement if the scores are trending low. This is also where a Manager or Team Leader can correct a task's logged hours if something looks off - see "How does working-hours time tracking work" for that flow.
What is the Agency Bulletin, and what's it for?
A workspace-wide announcement board for anything the whole team needs to see and keep seeing - a policy change, a standing rule, a reminder - without it getting buried in a chat scrollback. Everyone can read it, but only the Manager can post, edit, or delete entries. 1. Go to /agency and find the "Agency Bulletin" panel. 2. As Manager, type your announcement and click Send. 3. To edit or delete a post you (or a previous Manager) made, hover over it and click the pencil or trash icon. Every new workspace automatically starts with one bulletin post already in place - the standard time-tracking guidelines (Ongoing/Pending/Done) - which the Manager can edit or delete like any other post.
How does chat work in the Agency Platform?
Team communication happens right where the work happens, instead of scattering across email, Slack, or texts - and it's all live/real-time, so a message appears instantly for the other person, no refresh needed. 1. Private Chat - a 1-on-1 thread between you and any one other workspace member, visible only to the two of you. Managers and Team Leaders also see a read-only "Sweto" system thread for reminders (and staff can reply to it only when Sweto is asking them to confirm something, like an hours correction). 2. General Topic Chat - a workspace-wide channel everyone can see, for announcements or questions that aren't about one specific client. 3. Account Chat (inside a client account page) - has a "Client" tab and a "General Topic" tab, so you can message about that specific client or jump to the general channel without leaving the page. To use any of them: open /agency (or a specific client account page), find the chat panel, type your message, and press Enter or click Send.
How does the shared Credit Pool work for an agency, and why not just give everyone personal credits?
A shared pool means Team Leaders and VAs can run scans on client accounts without needing to buy or be given personal credits - and because every spend is logged with who spent what and on which client, a Manager gets full visibility into where credits actually go instead of guessing. 1. As Manager, go to /agency and find the Credit Pool card. 2. Add credits to the pool from your personal balance, or buy more from /pricing first if needed. 3. Every credit spend from the pool is logged, so you can see exactly who spent what and on which client.
How does working-hours time tracking work, and how do I correct it?
This is what makes staff hours trustworthy without anyone having to manually log a timesheet - the clock runs automatically while a task is "Ongoing," and pauses the moment you switch it to Pending or Done. It gives a Manager real, hard-to-fake data on how long work actually took, not a self-reported guess. Leaving a task on "Ongoing" while you're not actually working on it will count against your tracked hours, so always switch back to "Pending" on a break. If a Manager or Team Leader believes someone's logged hours are wrong: 1. Go to that person's Investigate page (click into their name from Staff Performance or Team Activity). 2. Click the small gray pencil icon next to Working Hours on the task in question. 3. Enter the corrected number of hours and save. 4. This does NOT apply immediately - Sweto sends the staff member a Private Chat message asking them to confirm the change. 5. The staff member replies "confirm" to approve it, or "deny" to reject it - either way, Sweto sends a closing message once it's resolved. 6. If the request was made by mistake, the Manager/Team Leader can click the "x" next to "Pending confirmation" to cancel it before the staff member responds. Requiring the staff member's confirmation keeps hour corrections fair and auditable - a Manager can't silently rewrite someone's tracked time.
How does the Task Board work, and why is it useful?
The Task Board turns every SEO issue found into a real, trackable task instead of a report that gets read once and forgotten - so a Manager always knows what's actually being worked on, by whom, and whether it's actually done. 1. Open a client account from /agency/clients. 2. Click "Sync from Latest Full Site Audit" to pull every issue found in that client's most recent audit in as a task automatically - or click "Add Manual Task" to add a one-off task yourself. 3. Each task moves through a status: Not Started -> Ongoing -> Pending (if paused) -> Done (awaiting verification) -> Done (verified). 4. Whoever's working the task clicks "Ongoing" when they start, "Pending" if they step away, and marks it done when finished - a Manager or Team Leader then clicks "Confirm Done" to verify it. 5. If a task shouldn't be fixed, click "Ignore..." to submit an Ignore Request with a reason - a Manager or Team Leader can then approve or reject it. VAs adding a manual task will see it go to "Pending Approval" first, until a Manager or Team Leader approves it. Because tasks are tied to real status changes, working hours and turnaround time get tracked automatically - no separate timesheet needed.
How do I add a client account to my agency?
Client accounts are how Sweto keeps each client's tasks, chat, and reporting cleanly separated, so a VA working on Client A never sees Client B's data unless they're actually assigned to it. 1. Go to /agency and click "Clients" in the top nav (Manager or Team Leader). 2. Add a new client account with their website domain. 3. Assign a Team Leader (and VAs) to that account so they can see and work on it. 4. Once added, that client's tasks, chat, and reporting all live under their own client account page.
How do I add a Team Leader or VA to my agency?
1. Go to /agency (you must be the Manager). 2. Find the "Add Team Leader" or "Add VA" option on the workspace page. 3. Enter the email address of the person you want to add - they must already have a Sweto account (they need to sign up first if they don't). 4. Submit - they're added to your workspace immediately in that role. Your package limits how many Team Leaders/VAs you can add (Free: 1 each; Studio: 5 each; Team: 10 each; Unlimited: no limit) - upgrade your package from /agency if you hit the limit.
How do I set up an Agency Workspace, and what does it give me?
The Agency Workspace is where Sweto stops being just a scanning tool and becomes a real place to run an SEO team - tasks, staff, client communication, and performance all live in one connected place instead of five different tools stitched together by hand. 1. Click "Agency" in the top navigation (or go to /agency) while logged in. 2. If you don't have a workspace yet, you'll see "Set Up Your Agency Workspace." 3. Type a name for your agency (e.g. "Digital Ace SEO Agency") in the "Agency / Workspace Name" field. 4. Click "Create Workspace." 5. You're now the Manager of your own workspace, on the Free package (3 client accounts, 1 Team Leader, 1 VA) - upgrade any time from the workspace page if you need more room.
Where can I see my past scans and reports?
Every scan and report you've ever run stays saved and shareable, so you never have to re-run something just to find a result you already paid for. 1. Go to your Dashboard. 2. Scroll down to the "Reports" section - your past scans are grouped by domain. 3. Click into any domain to see its full scan history, or open a past report directly to view or re-share it.
How do I buy more credits?
Credits are Sweto's only cost - there's no subscription, so you only pay for the scans and reports you actually run. 1. From the Dashboard, click "Add Credits" (under your credit balance), or go to /pricing. 2. Choose a credit pack. 3. Complete checkout with PayPal. 4. Credits land in your account balance immediately and can be used on any tool - Full Site Audit, SEO Report, and every other tool. (Your original 2 free signup credits are the only ones limited to the SEO Issue Library scanners - purchased credits work everywhere.)
How do I change my password?
1. Go to Account Settings (/account). 2. Scroll to "Change Password." 3. Enter your new password and confirm the change.
How do I connect Google Business Profile to Sweto?
Connecting GBP lets Sweto pull real reviews, ratings, and local visibility data into your reports and tools - useful for any client whose business depends on local search, not just website traffic. 1. Go to Account Settings (/account). 2. Under "Google Business Profile," click "Connect Google Business Profile." 3. Sign in with the Google account that manages the business listing. 4. Approve the permissions. 5. Once connected, Sweto uses that real data automatically wherever it's relevant.
How do I connect Google Search Console to Sweto, and why should I?
Several tools (Full Site Audit, Ranking Investigation, Cannibalization Scanner, SEO Report) are far more accurate with a connected Search Console account - they use your real ranking, click, and indexation data instead of estimates, which is the difference between a genuinely useful audit and a generic one. 1. Go to Account Settings - click "Account Settings" from the Dashboard, or go to /account. 2. Under "Google Search Console," click "Connect Google Search Console." 3. Sign in with the Google account that has Search Console access to your site(s). 4. Approve the permissions Google asks for. 5. You're redirected back to Account Settings with a confirmation that the account is connected. If you manage multiple clients under different Google accounts, connect all of them - Sweto automatically uses whichever connected account has access to the domain you're working on. If a connection breaks, it'll show "Needs reconnecting" - just click "Connect another Google account" and sign in again.
Where can I browse all the SEO issues Sweto checks for?
The SEO Issue Library is the reference behind every scan Sweto runs - useful even if you're not ready to run a paid tool yet, since it's completely free to browse and each issue explains why it actually matters, not just that it exists. 1. Click "SEO Issues" in the top navigation, or go to /seo-issues. 2. Browse all 50+ issues, organized by category (keyword conflicts, location page problems, internal linking, content, technical, GBP, and more). 3. Click into any issue to read what it is, why it matters, and how to fix it. 4. Each issue page also has its own free-to-try scanner - enter your URL right on that page to check your site for that one specific issue before committing to a full audit.
How does the AI Location Page Generator work, and how is it different?
Most location pages are a template with the city name swapped in - Google (and readers) can tell, and these pages rarely rank. Sweto's generator writes the page using real facts it knows about your business, so each location page reads as genuinely local instead of duplicate boilerplate. 1. From the Dashboard, open "Optimization Tools" and click "Learn how it works" next to AI Location Page Generator (or go to /location-page-generator). 2. Enter your business's website and the city/location you want a page for. 3. Run it - this costs 6 credits. 4. Review the generated page and publish it on your own site.
How do I find internal linking opportunities, and what's the benefit?
Weak pages often just need more internal authority, not new content. The Internal Link Finder identifies your strongest-performing pages and tells you exactly where to add internal links from them to boost the pages that need help - a fast, low-effort win instead of a full rewrite. 1. From the Dashboard, open "Optimization Tools" and click "Find opportunities" next to Internal Link Finder (or go to /internal-link-finder). 2. Enter the website URL. 3. Run it - this costs 5 credits. 4. You'll get a list of specific link opportunities: which strong page should link to which weak page, and with what anchor text.
How do I check my sitemap for broken or error pages?
A page returning a server error or timing out is invisible to Google and to visitors - and it can quietly drag down how much of your site gets crawled at all. The Sitemap Error Scanner checks every URL in your sitemap for real 5xx errors and timeouts, so you catch what's broken before it costs you crawl budget or traffic. 1. From the Dashboard, open "Audits & Diagnostics" and click "Scan for errors" next to Sitemap Error Scanner (or go to /sitemap-error-scanner). 2. Enter the website URL. 3. Run the scan - this costs only 1 credit, the cheapest tool on Sweto. 4. You'll get the exact list of broken URLs, ready to hand to a developer.
How do I check for keyword cannibalization, and why does it matter?
When two pages on your own site compete for the same keyword, Google often can't decide which one to rank - so both perform worse than either would alone. The Cannibalization Scanner finds these conflicts using your real Search Console data and tells you exactly how to fix each one (merge, differentiate, or redirect), so your pages stop competing with each other. 1. From the Dashboard, open "Audits & Diagnostics" and click "Scan for conflicts" next to Cannibalization Scanner (or go to /cannibalization-scanner). 2. Enter the website URL. 3. Run the scan - this costs 10 credits. 4. Review each conflict found and apply the suggested fix.
How do I find out why my rankings changed, and what does it tell me?
Rankings move for real reasons - an algorithm update, a competitor's page improving, a technical issue, seasonality - and guessing wrong wastes time fixing something that isn't the actual cause. Ranking Investigation digs into your real Google Search Console data to find the true root cause instead of a surface-level guess. 1. From the Dashboard, open "Audits & Diagnostics" and click "Investigate" next to Ranking Investigation (or go to /ranking-investigation). 2. Enter the website URL. 3. Run the investigation - this costs 10 credits. 4. Sweto pulls your connected Search Console data (connect it first in Account Settings if you haven't) and explains what actually caused the change.
What is the Defensive Report and when should I use it?
Use this when a client pushes back on a ranking or traffic drop. Instead of scrambling for an explanation, you get a dip explained honestly in plain SEO terms, with graphs and a timeline, plus a real fix if it's a real issue - so you walk into that conversation with facts, not guesses. 1. From the Dashboard, open "Client Reporting" and click "Explain a dip" next to Defensive Report (or go to /defensive-report). 2. Enter the client's website URL. 3. Run it - this costs 2 credits. 4. Sweto pulls real data to explain what actually happened and why, so you have a ready answer instead of guessing.
How do I generate an SEO Report for a client, and why use it?
Most SEO reports are a wall of metrics a business owner never reads. Sweto's SEO Report is written for the client, not search engines - it explains what was done, why it matters, and what's improving in plain language, so clients actually understand the value they're paying for instead of just seeing a table of numbers. 1. Go to your Dashboard. 2. Open the "Client Reporting" category in the Tools table. 3. Click "Generate a report" next to SEO Report (or go to /seo-report). 4. Enter the client's website URL. 5. Choose a tone for the report - it can be written in 3 different tones depending on who's reading it. 6. Click to generate - this costs 3 credits. 7. Once it's done, you'll get a client-ready report you can share directly (it has its own shareable link, no login required for the client to view it). Sending a report that reads well is a real retention tool - a client who understands their results is far less likely to churn.
How do I run a Full Site Audit, and what's the benefit?
A Full Site Audit finds every SEO problem across your whole sitemap in one pass, and ranks each one by what it's actually costing you - visibility, trust, or leads - not just technical severity. Instead of guessing what to fix first, you get a prioritized list with the exact fix for each issue, checked against all 50+ issues in Sweto's library. 1. Log in and go to your Dashboard. 2. In the Tools table, open the "Audits & Diagnostics" category. 3. Click "Run an audit" next to Full Site Audit (or go directly to /site-audit). 4. Enter your website URL and choose how many pages to scan - it costs 2 to 10 credits depending on the page count. 5. Click the button to start the scan. Sweto will crawl your sitemap and check it against the full 50+ issue library. 6. When it finishes, you'll see every issue found, grouped by category, with the exact fix for each one. If you've connected Google Search Console (Account Settings), the audit also pulls in real ranking and indexation data, so priorities are based on what's actually happening in Google, not assumptions.
What is Sweto and how much does it cost?
Sweto exists to answer one question honestly: is the SEO work actually working? It's a full agency management platform - site audits, client reports, and a real team workspace - built free so you never pay just to explore it. You only spend credits when you actually run a scan or report. 1. Click "Get Started Free" (top right of swetofix.com) or go to /signup. 2. Fill in your email and password and create your account. 3. You'll land on your Dashboard with 2 free credits already in your account - these can only be spent on the SEO Issue Library scanners (the 50+ individual issue checks), not the bigger tools. 4. To use Full Site Audit, SEO Report, or any of the other big tools, click "Add Credits" on the Dashboard (or go to /pricing) and buy a credit pack. No subscription is required to use Sweto - it's pay-as-you-go credits, like Canva.
